Dear First Grade Parents,
Welcome to the wonderful world of
first grade! My name is Amy Howard and I am happy to be your child’s
teacher this year! I know our days together will be exciting and full
of learning opportunities for all of us. I am committed to creating a
positive and successful classroom environment that promotes each
student’s desire to achieve. Our classroom is all set up for the
beginning of school with lots exciting activities to do! The fun will
begin when your child is here, so I will be waiting for their arrival to
begin a brand new year in first grade!
I am looking forward to seeing all of
you at Back to School Night on Thursday, August 24th. That evening is an
opportunity for me to give you an overview of the first grade year and
answer any questions you might have. However, if you any questions or

This will be a year filled with new
