With your help, along with local business sponsors, we hope to raise approximately $100.00 per student this year, to help pay for classroom supplies, art programs, school assemblies, crossing guard, garden, partial field trip expenses, and other programs. Without your generous support, these programs would not be possible for our students. Thank you for your support!
Students bring home pledge envelopes, asking adults to pledge a flat-fee or per-lap donation. On jog-a-thon day, each student will run as many laps as they can on the Maidu Jog-a-thon course for 20 minutes (15 minutes for kindergarten and TK), while family, friends, and teachers cheer them on. When students have collect all their pledge money, they bring the envelopes back to school (even if pledges are made online). We ask that all pledge envelopes be returned to your student’s teacher or the Maidu Office by October 20th.
